General Information
CRAZY CRAYON CRUSADE will be a local run or walk that will work to raise funds and collect items for a charity that is being determined. Come join Run the Tangents Timing on November 2, 2024 to give thanks through running and giving back to the community!
Please note that there are no refunds and there will be a 30 minute weather delay (if needed).
START/FINISH
The 5k will start and finish on the path near the Julian Smith Gazebo located behind the BBQ Pit (3 Milledge Road, Augusta, GA 30901) and will continue onto the canal towpath. This route will be paved and/or crushed dirt and may have puddles and other areas to keep an eye out for.
REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUPOnline registration will remain open right up until 5 minutes before race time. Race shirts are guaranteed to everyone who registers by October 1, 2024. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Packet pickup will be at Fleet Feet Augusta, 229 Furys Ferry Rd., Augusta, Georgia on November 1, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Registration prices
- 5K without a shirt is $20 through race day
- 5K with a shirt is $25 through 4/30/2024; $30 5/1/2024 through 10/1/2024;
$35 from 10/2/2024 through race day
- Virtual runner registration is $35 through 8 a.m. on race day
Note: All runners who register by October 1, 2024 will be guaranteed to receive an official race shirt! Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.Awards for 5k
Age Groups are 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 - 79, and 80 + male and female plus top 3 overall. Awards will be determined closer to the event date. Chip Timed with awards based on Gun Times.
ParkingParking will be available along Milledge Road and at the Julian Smith Casino parking lot in Augusta, Georgia 30904.
